Hey there, I’m Alycia and it's a pleasure to virtually meet you!
I grew up in the Lower Mainland and am a true BC girl with a huge passion for the great outdoors. I’m the eldest of eight children (yes 8) and the idea of owning my own home one day came at the very young age of 16 when I was finally old enough to work. I couldn’t wait to have a place to call my own. At the age of 24 my ambition to own my first home finally became a reality and I’ve never looked back since.
I've been coming to the Shuswap almost every summer since I was a teen and moving our family here was a long time dream come true. I now look forward to helping you realize your own dreams and aspirations of home ownership in and around the Shuswap.
It all started when…
I have been a sales and marketing professional for over 25 years and have worked across all Canadian provinces and several states in the USA. As a serial entrepreneur, I helped launch three advertising agencies across Canada, which relocated me twice to Quebec and once to the United States. I was also the co-founder of a successful digital media agency in Canada prior to it being acquired by my competition. I held the role of Vice President of Marketing for North America at ONNI Real Estate Development prior to pursuing my own career in real estate.
I received my real estate license through the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and now work as a licensed real estate agent for Royal LePAGE Access Real Estate in Salmon Arm.
My love for real estate.
I was just a teen when HGTV first hit the television back in 1994 and I’ve been obsessed with home renovation and real estate shows ever since! I have also always been incredibly passionate about helping people realize their dreams, whether in their personal lives or for business. Real estate allows me to combine my passion for helping others and my mania for houses and interior design into one.
I have an additional level of empathy and understanding of what it takes to market, sell, negotiate, and purchase properties, whether local or through relocation, as I have personally owned 8 of my own homes in the last 20 years across Canada. If you do the math, that’s on average one move every two years. Let’s just say my partner and I are done moving for a VERY long time LOL. I’ve also lived through three renovations, one flood, one new build, and have personally experienced several multi-offer bid situations where we are one among 30 others trying to purchase the same home.
Trust me when I say, I have felt both the highs and lows of home ownership and can relate to all the other emotions that naturally come with buying and selling a home in BC. Being able to help others through this daunting process is why I got into real estate in the first place.

On a personal note.
I love spending as much time as possible with my partner in crime, our son, who is my pride and joy, and our two adopted dogs. Some of my favourite hobbies include gardening, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, boating on Shuswap Lake, and enjoying the outdoor beauty that surrounds us.
